Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US and were given asylum. Ghanizada is the middle child from two siblings, and born within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada launched her television career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an honorary award for the role as Chiara, who played the central character of Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. Her TV guest-starring performances include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in the independent comedy You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. Ghanizada first appeared in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as an actress on Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage in 2009, and was cast as a character in the pilot television Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn, and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
